Hit me like a ray of the sun of ( halo) the explanation is to describe the feeling of her romantic partner entering her life. Similar to a ray of light, her partner’s appearance provides comfort in a time of darkness.

I found a metaphore in Feded (Alan Walker):” THE MOSTERS RUNNING OUT INSIDE OF ME” refaring to her feelings.
And a similie in Dace Monkey (Tones And I): ” LIKE A MONKEY I HAVE BEEN DANCING MY HOLE LIFE” She is refaring Like she was moving a place to another and dancing her hole life like monkeys.

And I found a metaphor in the song “Never Say Never” that I really liked when I was younger from Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith.
“I was born from two stars” It is a metaphor because he wasn’t born from a star of course but his parents are movie stars.
