Long ago, people used letters to communicate. They mailed letters to friends and families. Today we can use e-mail, text messages, or phone calls to communicate quickly with friends and family all over the world.

Dictation #5 – Homework for Wednesday 10th

Omar feels awful. He’s really cold. His mother heats some water and makes him some lemon tea. Omar drinks the tea and feels warm. He takes a short nap.

Dictation No. 4 – May 3rd

When the sun shines, it heats the ocean. When the water in the ocean becomes warm, it evaporates. This means it changes from a liquid to a gas.

Dictation No. 3 – Wednesday 26th

When we make water very cold, it freezes and changes to ice. When ice or snow heats up, it melts and changes back to water.

Leo and Lily live in a big garden near a forest. Lily is red and yellow. She’s friendly, but she is usually very nervous. Lily flies from tree to tree.

All birds have two legs, two wings and feathers, and most birds can fly. The wings and feathers help them fly and the feathers keep them warm.
